Pumalin Park

Is very difficult think in a favourite place... I like many places; the sea, the country, the lakes, the mountain... all nature. In the south of Chile, exist a beautiful and pleasant place... is the Pumalin Park, near to Hornopiren in the Austral Way in Palena Province, X region.

This is an extensive area of evergreen temperate rain forest. This area was declared a Nature Sanctuary on 2005. Inside Pumalín Park can you found a series of hiking trails, hot baths Cahuelmó, waterfalls, the fjords and other places very quiet and peaceful.
In Caleta Gonzalo the visitors can rent a boat to visit the fjords and travel to other areas of the park. The locomotion towards cities as Chaiten and Futaleufú is a little difficult. This way is beautiful landscape, can you see many vegetation, the "nalca" is the charasteristic vegetation.

In the night can you see the stars in the sky and hear all sounds of nature, as the river, the wind, etc. In Santiago this is impossible, only can you listen the noise of the cars and public transport, also the atmospheric pollution is very high. Is necessary to go this places for to breathe some fresh air.

This place allow to explore, live and enjoy the magic of the natural world.
